What is The Wellbeing Journal?
Susana L. (that’s me!) and Cristina L. (yes, my sister) are the co-Founders of the healthy lifestyle brand Holistik Bloom and Editors of this blog, The Wellbeing Journal. I’m a Psychologist and passionate about personal development and my sister is an Engineer specialized in Industrial Design and she is very curious about new trends and products that could help us to live better easily.
We believe Healthy living means putting our attention on our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing and start adopting decisions consciously that lead us to make small, simple changes in our habits that transform our whole life.
We are both passionate about sharing a holistic and simple approach to a healthy living. We call it “Easy Ways to Improve your Wellbeing”.
We are based in Spain so our way of living has a Mediterranean flavour. We also want to spread and enhance this joyful and healthy manner to live: Mediterranean recipes with olive oil and fresh fruit and vegetables, wine culture, and so on.

To help you to make the right decisions, in this section you will find Health news, stories and tips that inspire healthy lives. They are easy ways to move your body, tips to sleep better, to learn how to meditate, to initiate yourself as a yogi, and tips around natural beauty. Everything to improve your wellbeing.
Wellness at home:
Taking into account that everything around us is influencing our entire body (and soul 😊) we want to share tips and content emphasizing that maybe you can easily feel better by changing the textures, colors, materials, designs and objects surrounding you.
We are becoming more and more aware of the role of our surroundings. The links between art, aesthetics, the built environment, health and wellbeing are nothing new, but applying it to our home environment is beginning to gather momentum.
In this “Wellness at home” section, you will find information and inspiring ideas to create spaces to live in, that nourish your mind, body and soul.
Alternative therapy encompasses a variety of disciplines that includes everything from your diet and exercise to your mental conditioning and your lifestyle.
Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Healing Crystals, Essential Oils, herbal remedies, Light healing, Sound healing, Akhasic Records, … are some of these “other ways” to feel better.
We invite you here to explore other perspectives of our mind, body and spirit’s health and the way to harmonize them with these therapies and self-knowledge.
In this section we will talk about how these disciplines could help us to recover our balance.
Environmental wellbeing promotes interaction with nature and one’s personal environment.
All of us impact our environment although sometimes we are not aware of it.
Linked to this category you will find content explaining other ways to live more sustainably reducing the use of plastic, reusing or recycling so that we will leave a positive impact.
Giving space in our blog to this dimension of wellness (the Environmental) we desire to inspire people to live a lifestyle that is respectful of our surroundings.
We want to encourage people to live in harmony with the Earth by taking action to protect it.
